Manufacture of Rail-cum-Road Vehicle |
|
- DMW has designed and developed prototype RCRV’s for Mechanical and Civil departments.
- Pending issues mainly failure of track circuiting and axle counters have been resolved by a Committee of ED’s of Rly Board in January 2006 .
- Manufacture in hand for remaining 17 RCRVs for Mechanical, Civil and Bridge Testing Lab.

- Project sanctioned at a cost of 6.74 Cr.
- Consultancy is being sought from RITES.
- Case referred to Rly Board for administrative approval of consultancy on single tender basis.
